MAHARAJADHIRAJA SRI KUMARAGUPTAH ('The King of Kings, Lord Kumaragupta' in Brahmi) Kumaragupta I standing front, head to left, raising his right hand in blessing and holding bow in his left; in field to upper left, Gadura standing facing on standard. Rev. SRI VIKRAMAH ('Lord Valorous' in Brahmi) Lakshmi seated facing on large lotus, holding beaded Pasa in her right hand and lotus flower in her right. Kumar, Class II, var. B.1. Struck on a somewhat short flan and with minor scratches on the edge, otherwise, very fine.
